I was born on 29th August 1993 in San Juan de Pasto, Colombia. I am a Mechatronic Engineer. During my undergraduate, I have been involved in research activities in different areas such as Numerical Methods, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Instrumentation in Physics. Afterward, I was enrolled in the Master's degree program in Computer Science at Federal University Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), where Brain-Computer Interface (BCI), Computational Neuroscience, and Experimental Psychology have been my primary research interests.
I am currently a lecturer and researcher at Mariana University and Data Scientist in Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of Colombia. I am broadly interested in new BCI approaches, Neuromorphic Robotics, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Embodied Cognition, Cognitive Sciences, and Human-Computer Interaction. I consider myself a person characterized by my natural and constant will for learning, with high reflexive and critical sense. I define myself as a multicultural and highly-respectful-of-the-difference person, keeping ethical manners with anyone independently of his origin, gender, beliefs, race, and education. In my duties, I have been an orderly and autonomous person, honest, responsible, and disciplined. Likewise, I have developed a high capacity to work both independently and as part of a team efficiently. I have worked in different locations, environments and under pressure while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude.
