Raquel Anna Sapunaru

Graduated in Physics from UFRJ (1984); Master's Degree (2005) and PhD (2010) in Philosophy (with emphasis on Metaphysics of the 17th century and History of Philosophy) by PUC-Rio. Taught Professional Ethics, Logics Applied to the Decision Process and Methodology of Scientific Research at Candido Mendes University (UCAM), Mackenzie-Rio and FVG-Rio. Professor at the Institute of Science and Technology (IST) of the University of the Valleys of Jequitinhonha and Mucuri (UFVJM-JK Campus), teaching History and Philosophy of Science, Introduction to Sociology, Sociology of Science, History and Philosophy of Economics, Methodology of Scientific and Logical Research for the Bachelor's Degree in Science and Technology (BS in S&T). Coordinates the Nucleus of Philosophy and History of Physics-Mathematics (NUFIHM) since 2012, developing projects in various lines of research. Over time, NUFIHM has undergone adaptations and, in 2018, will follow the lines of: 1) Studies of Epistemological Problems Facing the Education of Physics and Mathematics; 2) Studies of History and Philosophy of Mathematics and Physics; and; 3) Logical Studies. Experience in Philosophy, acting on the following subjects: philosophy, Euclid, Leibniz, differential calculus, geometry, Newton, Descartes, time, space, movement, Russell, continuity, limit and Popper, classic mechanics and quantic mechanics,

Lecionou Ética Profissional, Lógica Aplicada ao Processo Decisório e Metodologia da Pesquisa Científica na Universidade Cândido Mendes (UCAM), Mackenzie-Rio e FVG-Rio. Professora Classe D, Associado II, do Instituto de Ciência e Tecnologia (ICT), da Universidade dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri (UFVJM-Campus JK), onde leciona História e Filosofia da Ciência, Introdução à Sociologia, Sociologia da Ciência, História e Filosofia da Economia, Metodologia da Pesquisa Científica e Lógica para o curso de Ciência e Tecnologia (CT). Coordena o Núcleo de Filosofia e História da Física-matemática (NUFIHM) existe desde 2012, desenvolvendo projetos em várias linhas de pesquisa. O NUFIHM foi, com o passar do tempo, sofrendo adequações e, a partir de 2018, passou a trabalhar com as seguintes linhas de pesquisa, a saber: 1) Estudos de Problemas Epistemológicos Voltados para a Educação da Física e da Matemática; 2) Estudos de História e Filosofia da Matemática e da Física; 3) Estudos de Lógicas; 4) Estudos em História da Matemática.
