has degree in law from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1994), training in History, Universdade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1994), specialized in Foreign Trade, Human Rights, International Law, Open Regionalism. Defended his doctoral thesis at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (2000), Spain, in the area of international law. Works as associeted professor at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Brazil, and former of coordinator of research at the Center for Legal Sciences. Is also a former member of the Euro-Latin American Integration, of the Brazilian Society for Science Progress and former Chairman of the Committee on International Relations of the Brazilian Bar Association, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Has experience in International Law and Business, with emphasis on International Law. Serves, mainly in the areas of trade and international cooperation for development, agroenergy, human rights, sustainable development, social responsibility, Mercosur and the European Union.
