Sidnei Sousa Costa

Doctoral student in Literature at the Graduate Program in Literature at the University of Brasília. Master in Literature from the same Program. Graduated in Licentiate in Portuguese, English and Literature from the State University of Goiás. Graduated in Participatory Democracy and Social Movements from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He has experience in the area of ​​Letters, with an emphasis on literary theory, Lima Barreto, spatiality, theater, human rights and racial equality. He was a substitute professor of Portuguese Language and Literature at the Federal Institute of Brasília, working in technical, integrated high school and subsequent courses. He was a substitute teacher at the Education Department of the Federal District. He was a technical advisor at the Secretaria for Drug Policies of the Ministry of Justice; Secretariat of Racial Equality. He was General Coordinator of the Human Rights and Monitoring Hotline at the Human Rights Secretariat of the Republic Presidency.

Doutor em Literatura no Programa de Pós Graduação de Literatura da Universidade de Brasília. Mestre em Literatura pelo mesmo Programa. Graduado em Licenciatura Plena em Letras Português, Inglês e Literaturas pela Universidade Estadual de Goiás. Possui Pós Graduação em Democracia Participativa e Movimentos Sociais pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Tem experiência na área de Letras, com ênfase em teoria literária, Lima Barreto, espacialidade, teatro, direitos humanos e igualdade racial. Atua no acompanhamento e monitoramento de políticas de ações afirmativas e ministrados cursos sobre o tema. Foi professor substituto de Língua Portuguesa e Literaturas no Instituto Federal de Brasília, com atuação nos cursos técnico, médio integrado e subsequente. Foi professor substituto na Secretaria de Educação do Distrito Federal, em língua inglesa e portuguesa e respectivas literaturas. Foi assessor técnico na Secretaria de Políticas sobre Drogas do Ministério da Justiça e da Secretaria de Igualdade Racial. Foi Coordenador Geral do Disque Direitos Humanos e de Monitoramento na Secretaria de Direitos Humanos da Presidência da República. Atualmente, foi reconduzido a Coordenação Geral do Disque Direitos Humanos. Integra o grupo de pesquisa TOPUS e LiterArtes e é associados a ABPN.
