Bacharel em Ciências Biológicas com ênfase em Genética pela Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia (2007) e Mestre (2011) e Doutor (2015) em Genética pela Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto-USP. Fez estágio de pesquisa no Exterior (2014) na Medical School of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Fez Pós-Doutorado na Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto-SP/Universidade de São Paulo como bolsista FAPESP. Atualmente é cofundador e CEO da Startup NEOGENYS Diagnóstico Molecular. Possui como áreas principais de atuação, a Biologia Celular e Molecular do Câncer. Com experiência em estudos envolvendo Vias do desenvolvimento embrionário, principalmente com a via Notch e Genes HOX em Meduloblastoma. Experiência também na área de RNAs não codificadores longos e Microambiente tumoral. Outras área com experiência: Transplante de medula óssea em modelo murino transgênico/GFP, Células estromais mesenquimais multipotentes e Polimorfismos genéticos na Doença Arterial Coronariana e Hipertensão arterial sistêmica.
Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences with emphasis on Genetics by State University of Southwest of Bahia (2007) and Master (2011) and PhD (2015) Degrees in Genetics by Medicine School of Ribeirão Preto-University of São Paulo. He did a Abroad Research Internship at Medical School of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. He was post-doctoral fellow at Ribeirão Preto Medical School-University of São Paulo. Currently, he is cofounder and CEO at startup NEOGENYS Molecular Diagnostic. He has as main area of expertise: Cellular and Molecular Biology of Cancer. With experience in studies involving embrionic development pathways such as Notch pathway and HOX genes in Medulloblastoma. Also experienced in Long non-coding RNAs and tumor microenvironment. Other area experienced: bone marrow transplantation in GFP transgenic murine model, multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells and genetic polymorphisms in the Coronary Artery Disease and Hypertension.
