English Literature Professor. She holds a degree in Portuguese and English Languages earned in 1997, a Master's degree in Language and Literature earned in 2002 with a thesis in the area of Applied Linguistics: teaching English as a Foreign Language, a Doctorate in Language and Literature earned in 2007 from the Federal University of Goiás with a dissertation on the teaching of English Language Literature in the area of Applied Linguistics, and completed a continuing education course in Literary Criticism - Critical Reading at the University of Oxford in 2017. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Modern Languages College and a senior researcher and professor at the Master's and Doctorate in Language and Literature at UFG. In addition, she is a collaborating professor at the Master's in Education and the Master's in Agronomy at UFJ. Furthermore, she serves as the general research coordinator at the Modern Languages College. She has taught at the Sapienza Università di Roma in the Erasmus Program of teaching mobility. Her experience in higher education focuses on teaching and learning literature in English. She works mainly on the following topics: English Literature, English Teaching and Research, Teacher Education, Affective Domain in Language Learning, Collaborative Learning, and Intersemiotic Translation from Literature to Cinema.
