Atualmente é professor adjunto do curso de Ciência da Computação da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB). Possui doutorado em Ciência da Computação pela UFPE (2016), mestrado pela mesma instituição (2010), MBA em Gerenciamento de Projetos pela Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2007) e graduação em Ciência da Computação pela UFPE (2005). Obteve várias certificações profissionais, incluindo o Project Management Professional (PMP) do Project Management Institute (PMI) em 2006, e o Certified Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master e Scrum Developer (CSPO, CSM e CSD) da Scrum Alliance , Agile Scrum Foundation (ASF) do EXIN e Design Thinking for Innovation da Darden School of Business da University of Virginia em 2019. Ganhou experiência profissional trabalhando como gerente de projetos e analista de sistemas para empresas como IBM, Siemens, e Motorola. Na UEPB, lidera o grupo de pesquisa Ação das Tecnologias na Aprendizagem Significativa (ATLAS), e colabora com o grupo de Segurança Computacional do Centro de Informática da UFPE e com o grupo de Gestão, Comportamento e Competências Organizacionais do IFPB. Seus interesses de pesquisa incluem desenvolvimento e qualidade de software e segurança computacional. É membro da Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, PMI, Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) e da Sociedade Brasileira de Computação (SBC).
Currently, he serves as an associate professor for the Computer Science program at the State University of Paraíba (UEPB). He has a PhD in Computer Science from UFPE (2016), a Master's degree from the same institution (2010), an MBA in Project Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (2007), and a degree in Computer Science from UFPE (2005). He has earned several professional certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in 2006, and the Certified Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Master, and Scrum Developer (CSPO, CSM, and CSD) from Scrum Alliance, the Agile Scrum Foundation (ASF) from EXIN, and Design Thinking for Innovation from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia in 2019. He has gained professional experience working as a project manager and systems analyst for companies like IBM, Siemens, and Motorola. At UEPB, he leads the research group on the Action of Technologies in Meaningful Learning (ATLAS), and collaborates with the Computational Security group at UFPE Informatics Center and the Management, Behavior and Organizational Skills group at the IFPB. His research interests include software development and quality assurance, as well as computer security. He is a member of Scrum Alliance, Scrum.org, PMI, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC).
