Vinicius de Assis

Bacharel e Mestre em Artes Visuais pelo IA UNESP. Formou se na graduação em 2013 e no mestrado em 2016. É artista e professor, com interesse em técnicas e procedimentos artesanais de ofício. Com passagem pelo restauro de igrejas (catedral de Sorocaba 2004 e Ordem Terceira de São Franscisco em São Paulo 2010), como desenhista de vitrais (Atelier Sarasá São Bernardo do Campo 2009) montador de exposições (Galeria BARÓ e as Bienais 2012, 2014 e 2016) cenotecnia e construção de cenários com J.C. Serroni (Espaço Cenográfico e SP Escola de Teatro). Através da monografia "Investigações Pictóricas" com o Prof.Doutor José Spaniol em 2013 se iniciaram as reflexões sobre o fazer poético pictórico. No mestrado a dissertação Thangka: A Pintura Sagrada Tibetana (2016) é o primeiro estudo acadêmico sobre a arte tradicional budista tibetana no Brasil, fruto de viagens e vivências com pintores no Nepal e Índia onde os princípios artesanais e de aprendizado se fazem presentes. É integrante do Coletivo RAGA onde realiza pesquisas em pintura e artes tradicionais e com a linguagem do muralismo e grafite. Morou durante três anos no templo budista Odsal Ling em Cotia onde era responsável por pinturas tradicionais em estátuas, instrumentos musicais e altares.

Through the monograph "Pictorial Investigations" with Prof. Doctor José Spaniol in 2012 began the reflections on the pictorial poetic doing. In the master's degree dissertation Thangka: The Tibetan Sacred Painting (2016) with Prof. Doctor Omar Khouri is the first academic study of Tibetan Buddhist traditional art in Brazil, the result of travels and experiences with painters in Nepal and India where the craft and learning principles are present. She is a member of the RAGA Collective where she conducts research in painting and traditional arts and in the language of muralism and graffiti. He lived for three years at the Odsal Ling Buddhist temple in Cotia where he was responsible for traditional statuary paintings, musical instruments and altars.
