MESTRE em "Ciências criminais" pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul - PUC / RS (2014). Pós-graduado (strictu sensu - ESPECIALISTA) em "Ensino e aprendizagem de inglês como língua estrangeira" pela Universidade de Caxias do Sul / RS - UCS (1995). Graduado em Direito pela Universidade de Caxias do Sul - UCS (1993). Exerce a função de DELEGADO DE POLÍCIA - Polícia Civil do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (desde 2002). É professor de Direito Processual Penal no Curso de Graduação em Direito das Faculdades Integradas de Taquara - FACCAT (desde 2017). Foi professor de Direito Processual Penal nos Cursos Superiores de Formação de Delegado, Inspetor e Escrivão de Polícia da Academia de Polícia Civil do mesmo Estado - ACADEPOL - RS (de 2007 a 2015). Foi professor de Direito Processual Penal no Curso de Pós-Graduação strictu sensu em Direito Penal e Direito Processual Penal da Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos - Unisinos (em 2015). Foi Advogado nas áreas do Direito Empresarial e Tributário (de 1994 a 2002), Tradutor Público Juramentado no Idioma Inglês (de 1995 a 2002), Professor de Direito Administrativo no Curso de Graduação em Direito da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul - PUC / RS - Campus Uruguaiana (em 2002) e Professor de Inglês em diversas instituições de ensino (de 1989 a 2002). É autor do livro "A identificação e a investigação criminal genética à luz dos direitos fundamentais e da Lei 12.654/12". É palestrante sobre o tema tratado no seu livro.

Taught Criminal Procedural Law in the Graduation Course of Chiefs of Police and in the Graduation Course of Police Officers at the Police Academy of the State of Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil (since 2007). Taught Criminal Procedural Law in the Post-graduation Couse in Penal Law and Criminal Procedural Law in the Unisinos University (since 2014). In the past performed the following functions: Lawyer (from 1994 until 2002); Certified Public Translator - English Idiom (from 1995 until 2002); Teacher of Administrative Law in the Graduation Course in Law at the Pontifical University of the State of Rio Grande do Sul - PUC / RS - Campus in the city of Uruguaiana / RS (in 2012); and English teacher in various schools (from 1989 until 2002). Is also the author of the book entitled "The criminal genetical identification and investigation considered by the fundamental rights and the Law number 12.654/12".
