Viviana Mendes Ribeiro Ferreira

She holds a PhD student for the Graduate Program of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RIO), developing research under the title "From the inevitable issue of women and blacks to refound democratic thinking and practices in contemporaneity". Master in Philosophy History for the Graduate Program in Philosophy of the Fluminense Federal University PFI/UFF (2017), dissertation with the title "The political power of literature in Gilles Deleuze". Graduated in Law from IBMEC-RJ (2007). Member of GT-Deleuze ANPOF, since 2014. Member of the Spinoza Reading Cycle and Law, coordinated by advisory Mauricio de Albuquerque Rocha, at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RIO), since 2010. He develops research in the field of political philosophy, with emphasis on the thinking of Bento de Espinosa, Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari. It also conducts research on the History of Feminism, addressing the aspect of political action and thought. In October 2017 he founded an Institute called IPIA Community of Thought. This Institute seeks to promote a humanist formation through the meeting and studies of humanities (philosophy, history, geography, art, literature, music, theater, etc.), understanding by humanist formation that provides us with the instruments for better social and collective performance and in the practice of democracy.

É doutoranda pelo Programa de Pós-graduação da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RIO), desenvolvendo pesquisa sob o título "Da incontornável questão das mulheres e dos negros para refundação do pensamento e práticas democráticas na contemporaneidade". Mestra em História da Filosofia pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Filosofia da Universidade Federal Fluminense PFI/UFF (2017), dissertação com o título "A potência política da literatura em Gilles Deleuze". Graduada em Direito pelo IBMEC-RJ (2007). Membro do GT-Deleuze ANPOF, desde 2014. Integrante do Ciclo de Leitura Spinoza e Direito, coordenado pelo professor Mauricio de Albuquerque Rocha, na Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RIO), desde 2010. Desenvolve pesquisa na área de filosofia política, com ênfase no pensamento de Bento de Espinosa, Gilles Deleuze e Felix Guattari. Realiza, também, pesquisa relativa à História do Feminismo, abordando o aspecto da ação política e do pensamento. Em outubro de 2017 fundou um Instituto que se chama IPIA Comunidade de Pensamento. Este Instituto busca promover uma formação humanista através do encontro e dos estudos das humanidades (filosofia, história, geografia, arte, literatura, música, teatro, etc), compreendendo por formação humanista aquela que nos fornece os instrumentos para melhor atuação social e coletiva e na prática da democracia.
