MARCELO ANTONIO THEODORO - Doutor em direito do Estado pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) em 2005, defendendo a tese com o tema "A Política de Patentes de Medicamentos e o Direito Fundamental a Saúde". Cursou na mesma instituição o Mestrado cuja dissertação "A Concretização dos Direitos Fundamentais" foi defendida em 2001. Cursou o Estágio Pós-Doutoral na Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC entre 2019-2021. Atualmente é Professor Associado dos cursos de Graduação, Pós Graduação e do Mestrado da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso (UFMT), aprovado no concurso de provas e títulos e pesquisador do CNPQ. É autor do livro "Direitos Fundamentais e sua Concretização" e Organizador das obras "Direitos Humanos e Fundamentais - Debates e reflexões Contemporâneas"; "Direito Agroambiental e Sustentabilidade - Estudos e Discussões Contemporâneas" e Direitos Fundamentais, Direito Agroambiental e Sustentabilidade; Direitos Fundamentais e Constituição volumes 1 e 2 e possui várias publicações de artigos em revistas especializadas, além de capítulos de livros em coletâneas de direito. Orientou várias, dissertações de mestrado e trabalhos de especialização e conclusão de curso na área de direito. Recebeu inúmeros prêmios e/ou homenagens como docente. Atua na área de direito constitucional, direitos fundamentais e direito agroambiental. É Presidente da Academia Mato-grossense de Direito (AMD) e membro do Instituto dos Advogados do Paraná (IAP) e ). Foi Presidente da 22ª. Subseção da OAB/MT em Primavera do Leste/MT. Foi Coordenador Pedagógico da Escola Superior de Advocacia da OAB/MT (ESA/MT) no triênio 2013-2015 e Coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Direito da UFMT no triênio 2014-2017. Em seu Currículo Lattes os termos mais frequentes na contextualização da produção cientifica, tecnológica e artístico-cultural são: direitos fundamentais, direitos humanos, direito constitucional, hermenêutica constitucional, tutela processual dos interesses difusos e coletivos, direito ambiental.
