Regina Tomie Ivata Bernal

I majored in Statistics at University Federal of Sao Carlos, Master of Public Health and Doctor of Science in the area of Epidemiology at Public Health of the University of São Paulo. In 1990 to 2004, I worked in financial market focused on application of models predtictive, forecasting and classification, in many projects of customer relationship management (CRM). In 2004, I joined the course of Master of Public Health in the area of Epidemiology at University Sao Paulo, I am seeking to gain skills in epidemiologic study and additional skills in survey sampling. In 2011, I finished my PHD of Sciences and in 2014 I finished Postdoctoral in Departament of Bioestatistic. Since then, I?m knowledge of complex survey design and data analytics in Complex Survey Sampling. Additionally, I?m participating in the design, conduct and data analysis in Household Survey, Telephone Survey and Violence and Accidents Survey Conducted in Sentinel Emergency Departments. Since 2010, I am consultant in Public Health, I have been experiences in Household Survey, Telephone Survey (Vigitel) and Violence and Accidents Survey (VIVA Inquérito) conducted in Sentinel Emergency Departments, for example the estimation area of alternative methods for correction bias. Furthermore, I focus on application of predictive analytics in projects of prevention program a health plan. Since 2019, I am a researcher in the post-doctoral program at the UFMG in the School of Nursing.
