Walter Domingos Niccoli Filho

Graduation in Dentistry by the Faculty of Dentistry of Bauru-USP (1974), Master in Dental Biology Pathology by the University of Campinas - UNICAMP (1986) and Doctorate in Maxillofacial Surgery by the Sao Paulo State University - UNESP (1991). At present is a PhD Professor of the Department of Biosciences and Diagnosis of the Sao Paulo State University UNESP, School of Dentistry, collaborating with researcher of the Institute of Studies Advanced of the Aerospace Technical Center - Division of Lasers and Optoelectronics, professor of the post graduation in Laser of the Institute of Nuclear and Energy Researches - IPEN/USP, Researcher of the Department of Oral Medicine at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and Researcher of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Has experience in the area of Dentistry, with emphasis in Maxillofacial Surgery and Stomatologic Propaedeutics acting mainly in the following subjects: Carbon dioxide laser, repair chronology, copper vapor laser, Nd:YAG, osteotomy and treatment of malignant and benign tumors of the maxillo-mandibular complex.

Possui graduação em Odontologia pela Faculdade de Odontologia de Bauru-USP (1974), Mestrado em Biologia Patologia Buco-Dental pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP (1986) e Doutorado em Cirurgia e Traumatologia Buco Maxilo Facial pela Universidade Estadual Paulista - UNESP (1991). Atualmente é Professor Titular do Departamento de Biociências e Diagnóstico, Professor do Curso de Graduação da Disciplina de Propedêutica Estomatológica, Coordenador do GAEPLO e Professor do Curso de Pós-Graduação em Biopatologia Bucal (Mestrado e Doutorado) do Instituto de Ciências e Tecnologia do Campus de São José dos Campos da Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Pesquisador Colaborador do Instituto de Estudos Avançados do Centro Técnico Aeroespacial - Divisão de Lasers e Optoeletrônica, Ex-Professor da pós-graduação em Laser do Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares - IPEN/USP, Invite Researcher Department of Oral Medicine do Seattle Cancer Care Alliance e Researcher do Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Tem experiência na área de Odontologia, com ênfase em Cirurgia Buco-Maxilo-Facial e Propedêutica Estomatológica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: laser de dióxido de carbono, bisturi harmônico, processo de reparo, laser de vapor de cobre, Nd:YAG, osteotomia e tratamento de lesões benignas e malignas do complexo maxilo-mandibular.
