Foi professor da Escola de Magistratura do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (EMERJ) e membro do Fórum de Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente da EMERJ, por mais de 10 anos. Coordenou a implantação do Projeto de Justiça Restaurativa do Ministério Público do Rio de Janeiro.
