Rafael Gustavo Ferreira Morales

Graduated in Agronomy from the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (2006), working mainly in the field of phytopathology and microbiology. Master's Degree in Phytotechnology from the State University of the Center-West of Paraná (2010), working with strawberry breeding and molecular markers. PhD in Phytotechnology, Federal University of Lavras (2012), working in the field of vegetable improvement, with emphasis on tomato crop and environmental stresses. Postdoctoral researcher at the Federal University of Paraná (2014), working with phytopathogen resistance to fungicides. He is currently a researcher at the Company of Agricultural Research and Rural Extension of Santa Catarina (Epagri), working in the area of olericultura at the Experimental Station of Itajaí-EEI.

Possui graduação em Agronomia pela Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (2006), atuando principalmente na área de fitopatologia e microbiologia. Mestre em Fitotecnia pela Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste do Paraná (2010), trabalhando com melhoramento do morangueiro e marcadores moleculares. Doutor em Fitotecnia pela Universidade Federal de Lavras (2012), atuando na área de melhoramento de hortaliças, com ênfase na cultura do tomateiro e estresses ambientais. Pós-doutor pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (2014), trabalhando com resistência de fitopatógenos a fungicidas. Atualmente é pesquisador da Empresa de Pesquisa Agropecuária e Extensão Rural de Santa Catarina (Epagri), atuando na área de olericultura na Estação Experimental de Itajaí-EEI.
