Gabriela Schenato Bica

I am graduated in Animal Science at the Federal University of Santa Maria (2002), Master in Agroecosystems at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2005) and PhD in Agroecosystems at UFSC (2018). I am a effective professor at the Federal University of Paraná, Setor Litoral, linked to the course of Technology in Agroecology. I have experience in Animal Science, with emphasis on Ethology, Animal Welfare and Agroecology, working mainly in the following subjects: animal rearing, animal ethology and welfare, agroecology, education and sustainable development. And i have two daughters: Alice born in 2012 (maternity leave: March to September / 2012) and Helena born in 2018 (leave: February to August / 2018).

Tenho graduação em Zootecnia pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2002), Mestrado e Doutorado em Agroecossistemas pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2005 e 2018). Sou professora Titular do curso superior de Tecnologia em Agroecologia da Universidade Federal do Paraná, Setor Litoral. Tenho experiência nas áreas de criação animal agroecológica, etologia, bem-estar animal e Agroecologia, bem como educação agroecológica e ambiental, educação do campo e desenvolvimento sustentável. Tenho duas filhas: Alice nascida em 2012 (licença maternidade: março a setembro/2012) e Helena nascida em 2018 (licença: fevereiro a agosto/2018).
