Diana Marcela Aragón Novoa

Pharmacist (2005) and Doctor in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2010) from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Currently, she is full Professor of Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Dynamic lecturer and researcher with 10+ years of experience in development of new drug delivery systems, extract standardization and the study of pharmacokinetic and biopharmaceutical properties of different active pharmaceutical agents. Supervised 20 BA theses, 12 MA theses, and 3 PhD dissertations. Edited and co-authored one book about our research and another one about women in science. Published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Regular contributor of paper and conferences in Colombia and abroad. Held academic-administrative positions as director of the undergraduate and graduate Pharmacy programs and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Science. Experience leading research projects funded by different organizations with Colombian and foreign participants. Invited researcher in Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brasil) and Innsbruck University (Austria). graduation at Química Farmacéutica from Universidad Nacional de Colombia - Bogotá (2005) and doctorate at Ciencias Farmacéuticas from Universidad Nacional de Colombia - Bogotá (2009). Has experience in Pharmacy, focusing on Pharmaceutical technology, acting on the following subjects: solubility, organic solvents, physalis peruviana, solution thermodinamics and ibuprofen.
