Fábio Pértille

I am a veterinarian and obtained my Master's and doctorate degrees in Science, focusing on genetics, animal breeding and bioinformatics. Over the past 8 years, I have specialized in ?omics approaches, such as genomic, transcriptomic, regulomic, proteomic and epigenomic analyses of large next-generation sequencing (NGS) data sets applied to model and non-model animals, with emphasis on animal welfare, behavior, and evolution. I have contributed to research in Sweden since 2015, after arriving here from Brazil, funded by Brazilian national grant schemes. I have been an integral part of research groups in Sweden for the past four years. During this time, I have published 20 peer-reviewed papers (average impact factor: 3.12 ) and one book chapter.

graduation at Medicina Veterinária from Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (2010), master's at Zoothecny from Universidade de São Paulo (2013) and doctorate at Ciência Animal e Pastagem from Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" - USP (2016). Has experience in Veterinary Medicine, acting on the following subjects: variabilidade genética, microssatélites, snp, pcr-rflp and galinha caipira.
