Master in Police Science - Criminology and Criminal Investigation (2012-2015), by the Superior Institute of Police Sciences and Internal Security (Lisbon, Portugal), recognized as a Master in Law by the University of Brasília (UnB), Post-Graduate (lato sensu) in Police Science at ISCPSI (2013-2014), Post-Graduate (lato sensu) in Criminal Science at UNAMA/UVB/LFG (2005-2007), Graduate in Law at the Federal University of Maranhão (1997-2002).He served as the deputy chief of the Federal Police station in Imperatriz/MA (2004-2005), chief of the Special Group for Combating Child Pornography and Hate Crimes on the Internet (GECOP) of the Human Rights Division of the Federal Police (2009-2011), chief of the Cybercrime Repression Group of the Regional Superintendence of the Federal Police in the Federal District (2012-2018), chief of the Research and Publications Service of the Higher School of Police Coordination of the National Police Academy (2018-2023), and General Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Police Sciences (2018-2023). He was also the Coordinator of the II and III Specialization Course in Police Sciences at the Higher Police School of the Federal Police (2018-2020 and 2020-2022). Federal Police Chief since 2003. Coordinator of the III Specialization Course in Judicial Police Law (2021-current). He has been a professor (since 2007) and online tutor at the National Police Academy (since 2011), Professor of the Specialization in Police Sciences (since 2018) and Professor of the I Postgraduate Course in Contemporary Public Security (2023), both at the Higher Police School of the Federal Police. Leader of the research group "Cyber Organized Crime" (since 2016), and has experience in the areas of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Human Rights, and Cybercrime Investigation.

Foi chefe substituto da Delegacia de Polícia Federal em Imperatriz/MA (2004-2005), chefe do Grupo Especial de Combate à Pornografia Infantil e aos Crimes de Ódio na Internet (GECOP) da Divisão de Direitos Humanos da PF (2009-2011), chefe do Grupo Repressão a Crimes Cibernéticos da Superintendência Regional da Polícia Federal no Distrito Federal (2012-2018), chefe do Serviço de Pesquisa e Publicações da Coordenação Escola Superior de Polícia da Academia Nacional de Polícia (2018-2023) e Editor-Geral da Revista Brasileira de Ciências Policiais (2018-2023). Foi Coordenador do II e III Curso de Especialização em Ciências Policiais da Escola Superior de Polícia (2018-2020 e 2020-2022). Delegado de Polícia Federal desde 2003. Atualmente é Coordenador do III Curso de Especialização em Direito de Polícia Judiciária (2021-atual). Professor (2007-atual) e tutor EaD na Academia Nacional de Polícia (2011-atual), Professor da Especialização em Ciências Policiais (desde 2018) e da I Pós-Graduação em Segurança Pública Contemporânea (2023), ambas da Escola Superior de Polícia da Polícia Federal. Líder do grupo de pesquisa "Criminalidade Organizada Cibernética"(2016-atual). Tem experiência nas áreas de Direito Penal, Processual Penal, Direitos Humanos e Investigação de Crimes Cibernéticos.
