Ana Karine Pereira

Doutora e mestre em Ciência Política pela Universidade de Brasília (UnB). Atualmente é professora adjunta do Centro de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (CDS) da UnB. Foi professora adjunta da Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG), entre os anos de 2016 e 2019. Realizou estágio de doutorado sanduíche (2011) no Centro de Estudos Ambientais, na Universidade de Brown (EUA). Foi pesquisadora visitante no Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada (IPEA), entre 2015 e 2021, atuando em projetos de pesquisa sobre qualidade da burocracia federal, capacidades estatais e condicionantes institucionais para a implementação de políticas de infraestrutura. Atualmente, atua no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Desenvolvimento Sustentável (PPGCDS/UnB) e no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Administração (PPGADM/UFG). Coordena projetos de pesquisa na área de gestão ambiental brasileira, populismo e desmantelamento da política ambiental, e novos instrumentos de políticas públicas para o desenvolvimento territorial sustentável.

PhD and Master in Political Science from the University of Brasília (UnB). She is currently a professor at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), working in the Graduate Program in Administration (FACE / UFG) and in the Graduate Program in Political Science (FCS / UFG). She was a visiting scholar at the Center for Environmental Studies at Brown University, USA. She is a visiting researcher at the Institute of Applied Economic Research (IPEA), developing research on institutional constraints for the execution of investment in public infrastructure policies. She worked in the Federal Public Administration - in the Department of Evaluation and Information Management (SAGI), in the Ministry of Social Development and Fight against Hunger (MDS) - with the monitoring and evaluation of public social policies. Has experience of research in the areas of state capacities for the implementation of public policies, bureaucratic quality, evaluation of public policies of infrastructure, environmental management and water security.
