Percy Enrique Rivera Salas

Received his Bachelor degree in Systems Engineering from the Catholic University of Santa María (UCSM) in Peru. He got his MSc. and DSc. degrees in Informatics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). Currently, he is a Principal Research Data Scientist at EMC Brazil Research & Development Center. Before joining EMC, he was a member of the Databases and Semantic Web team at Globo.com, innovative content organization for the largest media conglomerate in Latin America. He also conducted training courses on Publishing Open Government Data for the W3C Brazil. His research focuses on Big Data, Data integration, Knowledge Representation, Semantic Web, and Cloud Computing.
