Doutora em Educação pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro UERJ, com a tese Brincadeira e arte Patrimônio, formação cultural e samba de coco em Pernambuco, premiada pela Fundação Cultural Palmares, com a publicação do livro Samba de coco e políticas públicas - patrimônio e formação cultural em Pernambuco. Professora aposentada pela Universidade de Pernambuco - UPE. Licenciada, Bacharel e Mestre em História pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco - UFPE, com a dissertação Mário Sette ? o retratista da palavra, Prêmio Jordão Emerenciano ? Categoria Ensaio, do Conselho Municipal de Cultura do Recife, de onde foi membro posteriormente. Atuou no serviço público municipal como servidora da Prefeitura do Recife, na Fundação de Cultura Cidade do Recife, no Departamento de Documentação e Formação Cultural, entre outros setores ligados a patrimônio cultural imaterial. Integrante do Comitê Gestor de Salvaguarda do Frevo, organizou um livro de Memórias desse processo inicial de salvaguarda do Frevo, com apoio do Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional - IPHAN. Foi conselheira do Conselho Estadual de Política Cultural em Pernambuco. Participa da Rede Integrada de Bens Imateriais Registrados no Brasil - RIBIR. Coordena o Grupo de Estudos do Patrimônio - GEP pelo Facebook. Membro do Núcleo da Diversidade e Identidades Sociais - NDIS.

Retired Professor at the University of Pernambuco - UPE. Graduated, Bachelor and Master in History from the Federal University of Pernambuco - UFPE, with a dissertation Mário Sette - the portraitist of the word, Jordão Emerenciano Award, in the Essay Category, of the Municipal Council of Culture of Recife, of which he was later a member. She worked in the municipal public service as a servant of the City of Recife, in the Fundação de Cultura Cidade do Recife, in the Department of Documentation and Cultural Training, among other sectors related to intangible cultural heritage. A member of the Frevo Safeguarding Management Committee, he organized a book of Memories of this initial process of safeguarding Frevo, with the support of the Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional - IPHAN. She was a member of the State Council for Cultural Policy in Pernambuco. It participates in the Integrated Network of Intangible Assets Registered in Brazil - RIBIR. Member of the Center for Diversity and Social Identities - NDIS at the University of Pernambuco (NDIS UPE).
