Hanna Carvalho Lessa Ribeiro

Master in Information Science at the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology - IBICT / UFRJ (2017). Bachelor of Publicity and Advertising from the UFRJ School of Communication (2013). Received a scholarship from the Tutorial Education Program - PET (2009) and from the University Laboratory of Applied Advertising - LUPA (2010). Participated in the Academic Mobility Program at UFRJ, with an exchange of studies at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris III (2012). Currently researching the following topics: online platforms for political participation; e-democracy; network studies; social bots, manipulation and misinformation on social networks.

Mestre em Ciência da Informação pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Informação em Ciência e Tecnologia - IBICT/UFRJ (2017). Bacharel em Publicidade e Propaganda pela Escola de Comunicação da UFRJ (2013). Foi bolsista do Programa de Educação Tutorial - PET (2009) e do Laboratório Universitário de Publicidade Aplicada - LUPA (2010). Participou do Programa de Mobilidade Acadêmica da UFRJ, com intercâmbio de estudos na Université Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris III (2012). Atualmente pesquisa os seguintes temas: plataformas online de participação política; e-democracia; estudos de rede; social bots, manipulação e desinformação nas redes sociais.
