Luís Carlos Ferreira

Doutor em Políticas Públicas e Formação Humana (UERJ/PPFH-2017), com estágio Pós-Doutoral pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras Vernáculas (UFRJ-2021). Mestre em Educação (UERJ/PROPED-2004) e Graduado em Pedagogia (UERJ/FEBF-1998). Bolsista de Produtividade em Pesquisa pela Fundação Cearense de Apoio ao Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (FUNCAP). É professor no Curso de Pedagogia da Universidade da Integração Internacional da Lusofonia Afro-brasileira (UNILAB), onde também é docente Permanente no Mestrado Interdisciplinar em Humanidades (MIH). É coordenador de Projetos e Acompanhamento Curricular da Pró-Reitoria de Graduação (ProGrad-UNILAB). Coordenador do Grupo de Pesquisa "Observatório Vozes da EJA Brasil-África?, reunindo Brasil e os países que integram a CPLP, especialmente, Moçambique, Guiné-Bissau e Angola. Tem interesse nos temas Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), políticas públicas em educação, desigualdade/pobreza, exclusão, manifestações culturais africanas e afro-brasileiras, formação de professores da EJA e escrita e letramentos no âmbito da EJA.

He holds a bachelor's degree in Pedagogy from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1998), a Master's degree in Education from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2004) and a Doctorate in Public Policy and Human Education from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2017). He is Adjunct Professor A of the University of International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony - UNILAB, in the course of Pedagogy. Has experience in Education, with emphasis on Education, Public Policies and Labor. Currently, he is a member of the Africa-Brazil research group: knowledge production, civil society, development and citizenship, working on Research and Extension in the field of Youth and Adult Education, based on discussions on education and work, public education policies in Brazil and Africa, African literatures and cultural manifestations, problematized in African countries and in the state of Ceará, especially in the region of the Baturité Massif.
