Beatriz Vivian Schneider Felicio

Beatriz Vivian Schneider Felicio completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from FFCLRP - USP in 2008. She holds a Master's and PhD in Science Teaching with an emphasis on Chemistry teaching from the Inter-Unit Graduate Program in Science Teaching (IF / IQ / IB / FE) of USP São Paulo. She acted as tutor for the Specialization course in Science Teaching offered by FEUSP and the São Paulo Department of Education, on the Redefor platform in 2010 and 2011. She acted as tutor for the USP / UNIVESP Science Degree Course in 2014 and 2015. She was a effective chemistry teacher in the State network by 2019; she was a volunteer professor and collaborating researcher at the Research Center for Alternative Methodologies Connection (CIEMAC); participated in discussions and works by the following groups: Science, Behavior and Environment Research Group (GPCCA), from USP in Ribeirão Preto; Study and Research Group on Interculturality and Science Education (GEPIC), UFTM de Uberaba; Research Group on Science Education and Complexity (ECCo) of IFUSP of São Paulo. She is currently a teacher in Elementary School II and High School at Colégio Almeida Garrett (COLAG) in Ribeirão Preto. Her line of interest is the study of relations between Science / Chemistry Teaching and the socio-environmental theme from the socio-historical-cultural perspective of teaching and learning, with the approach of CTSA themes, focusing on the production of interdisciplinary study activities and for teaching chemistry.

Beatriz Vivian Schneider Felicio concluiu a Graduação em Licenciatura em Química pela FFCLRP - USP em 2008. É mestre e doutora em Ensino de Ciências com ênfase em Ensino de Química pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação Interunidades em Ensino de Ciências (IF/IQ/IB/FE) da USP São Paulo. Atuou como tutora do curso de Especialização em Ensino de Ciências oferecido pela FEUSP e Secretaria da Educação de São Paulo, na plataforma Redefor em 2010 e 2011. Atuou como tutora do Curso de Licenciatura em Ciências da USP/UNIVESP em 2014 e 2015. Foi professora efetiva de química na rede Estadual até 2019; foi professora voluntária e pesquisadora colaboradora do Centro de Investigações em Metodologias Alternativas Conexão (CIEMAC); participou em discussões e trabalhos dos seguintes grupos: Grupo de Pesquisa Ciência, Comportamento e Ambiente (GPCCA), da USP de Ribeirão Preto; Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Interculturalidade e Educação em Ciências (GEPIC), da UFTM de Uberaba; Grupo de Pesquisa em Educação em Ciências e Complexidade (ECCo) do IFUSP de São Paulo. Atualmente é professora no Ensino Fundamental II e Ensino Médio no Colégio Almeida Garrett (COLAG) em Ribeirão Preto. Sua linha de interesse é o estudo de relações entre o Ensino de Ciências/Química e a temática socioambiental sob a perspectiva sócio-histórico-cultural de ensino e aprendizagem, com a abordagem de temas CTSA, focando a produção de atividades de estudo interdisciplinares e para o ensino de química.
