Marcus Vinicius Scanavez Ramasotti Medeiros de Almeida

He holds a Bachelor of Popular Music, Master and Doctor of Music from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP. He is dedicated to teaching, research and music performance. As an educator, he worked at the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music during the second semester of 2018 as a teacher, where he taught several subjects including: Guitar, Improvisation, Composition and Arrangement, Jazz History, and Ensemble. Since 2005, he teaches at Colegio Dante Alighieri, where he coordinates the Guitar Course and is responsible for the CDA Guitar Orchestra. As a performer, develops author work in the area of Popular Music, having released the CD: Nicwenra - guitar solo (2013). As a Popular Music Researcher, he completed a Master of Music Performance in the area of Interpretive Practices and a Doctorate in Music, after internship as a visiting researcher at Queen's University of Belfast (UK).

é Bacharel em Música Popular, Mestre e Doutor em Música pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas - UNICAMP. Dedica-se ao ensino, à pesquisa e à prática musical. Como educador, trabalhou na Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music durante o segundo semestre de 2018 como professor, onde ministrou diversas disciplinas, incluindo: Guitarra, Improvisação, Composição e Arranjo, História do Jazz e Prática de Conjunto. Desde 2005, leciona no Colégio Dante Alighieri, onde coordena o Curso de Violão e é responsável pela Orquestra de Violões CDA. Como instrumentista (guitarra e violão), integra a cena de jazz da cidade de não Paulo, onde desenvolve trabalho autoral na área de Música Popular, tendo lançado o CD: Nicwenra - guitar solo. Como pesquisador de Música Popular, concluiu Mestrado em Performance Musical na área de Práticas Interpretativas e Doutorado em Música na área de Fundamentos Teóricos, após estágio como pesquisador visitante na Queen's University of Belfast (Reino Unido).
