Alessandra Cristina Rigonato

Doutora (2020) e Mestre (2015) em Estudos Linguísticos e Literários em Inglês pela Universidade de São Paulo, com estudos sobre dramaturgia irlandesa e estudo da recepção do teatro grego clássico. Possui bacharelado em Letras Português/Grego pela Universidade de São Paulo (2004) e licenciatura em Letras língua inglesa pela Faculdade de Educação Paulistana (2021). Atuou como professora substituta na Universidade Federal do Tocantins, campus Porto Nacional e atualmente é professora adjunta na Universidade Federal do Norte do Tocantins, campus Araguaína. Desenvolve projeto em ensino de língua pela literatura de expressão inglesa. É diretora administrativa da Associação Brasileira de Estudos Irlandeses (ABEI).

PhD in Linguistics and Literary Studies in English at the University of São Paulo with the thesis "Humour in times of Troubles". She holds a Master degree in Linguistics and Literary Studies in English from the University of São Paulo. She also holds a BA in Portuguese / Greek Language and Literature from the University of São Paulo ( 2004) . She has experience in the area of ​​Literature, with emphasis on English language literature, mainly in the following themes : comedy, Irish literature , comparative literature . She is director of Brazilian Association of Irsih Studies (ABEI). Currently, she is a professor at Federal University of the North of Tocantins (UFNT), campus Araguaína TO.
