Adjunct Professor of Constitutional Law at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Professor in the Post-Graduate Programme in Law at the University Cândido Mendes, and Public Prosecutor at Attorney General´s Office of Rio de Janeiro. Currently a Member of the IRC Committee of the LSA and a leader of the CRN 'Law and Development' since 2015, was a Mentor for the Graduate Student & Early Career Workshop (2020), Member of the LSA International Committee (2018-2019), and of the Organising Committee of the LSA/RCSL Conference in 2017. Currently a member of the Executive Board of the Research Committee of Sociology of Law and a leader of the Working Group 'Law and Development' (RCSL) since 2017, was a member of the Organising Committee of the RCSL Conference in Oñati (2019). Since 2015, a Convener of the stream 'Exploring Legal Borderlands' at the SLSA. Elected International Director of the Brazilian Institute for Studies of Civil Responsibility (IBERC). Former Member of the Special Group for Protection of Sport and Sports Fans (GAEDEST). Three times recognised as a top law professor at the graduation ceremony (classes of 2004, 2005, and 2011). Professionally, he was a very successful practitioner against political crimes and homicides on jury trials in Itaguaí (2002-2004), on police investigations and anti-drugs division (2004-2006), on collective protection of educational rights (2009), consumer rights (2009-2018), environmental protection (2018-2020) and citizenship (2020-2021) in Rio de Janeiro. Currently, he works at the prosecutorial office for urban law in Rio de Janeiro. Former Attorney of the Brazilian Central Bank.

Profissionalmente, merece destaque sua atuação no Ministério Público do Rio de Janeiro no combate a crimes políticos e homicídios no tribunal do júri de Itaguaí (2002-2004), em investigações policiais e de repressões a entorpecentes (2004-2006), na tutela coletiva da educação (2009), do consumidor (2009-2018), meio-ambiente (2018-2020) e cidadania (2020-2021) na capital do Rio de Janeiro.
