César Nardelli Cambraia

holds a degree in Portuguese and German Language and Literature at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1992), MA in Linguistic Studies at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1996), Ph.D. in Philology and Portuguese at the University of São Paulo (2000) and post-Ph.D. in Romance Linguistics at the Universitat de Barcelona (2010) and in Lexic and Terminology at the University of Brasilia (2020). He is currently full professor of Romance Philology at the School of Letters at the Federal University of Minas Gerais and has experience in the field of linguistics, with emphasis on Romance Linguistics and Textual Criticism, acting on the following topics: historical and comparative study of morphosyntax of Romance languages ​​in a typological-functional perspective, sociohistorical lexicology and edition of Romance old texts. Atualmente é Professor Titular de Filologia Românica na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais e tem experiência na área de Linguística, com ênfase em Linguística Românica e Crítica Textual, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: estudo histórico e comparado de morfossintaxe de línguas românicas em uma perspectiva tipológico-funcional, lexicologia sócio-histórica e edição de textos românicos antigos.
