Nelson Alves Ferreira Neto

Atualmente está cursando Doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela UFBA (Universidade Federal da Bahia), possui Mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela UFBA e é graduado Engenharia de Computação pela UEFS (Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana). Tem experiência docente em Sistemas Microprocessados, Sistemas Embarcados e Eletrônica Digital, assim como mais de 3 anos desenvolvendo Sistemas Robóticos e aplicações de Deep Learning para Visão Computacional em Tempo Real. Além de possuir experiência de 7 anos na área de projeto de Circuitos Integrado, tendo atuado como Engenheiro de FPGA/ASIC e Sistemas Embarcados, com conhecimentos em Sistemas Digitais, C/C++, Python, Java, Verilog/Systemverilog, UVM e Deep Learning

Graduated in Computer Engineering from the State University of Feira de Santana (2010) - Department of Mathematical Sciences (DEXA), Department of Technology (DTEC). A master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia (2015) - Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE) of the Polytechnic School of the Federal University of Bahia (EPUFBA). Currently serves as Digital ASIC Engineer at the Associação do Laboratório de Sistemas Integráveis Tecnológico Nordeste. He participated in the CI-Brazil program, carrying out the first two stages in CTI CT-2 and Phase 3 in the LSI-TEC NE. Attended the Brazil-IP program. He has experience in Computer Engineering, with emphasis on Microelectronics, Computer Systems Architecture and Digital Systems, acting on the following topics: prototyping of digital systems in FPGA, Integrated Circuit Design (front-end), Systems Modeling MATLAB script, Microcontrollers, Hardware Description Languages, Vericação Functional modeling in UML, Software Development, Artificial Neural Networks and Fuzzy Logic.
