Wilker Victor da Silva Azevêdo

Professor EBTT DIV no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Pernambuco (IFPE). Engenheiro Eletricista (2008) e Mestre (2010) em Engenharia Elétrica (área de concentração: Sistemas Elétricos) pela Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG). Doutorando em Educação Matemática e Tecnológica (2020) pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), com tese relacionada à investigação de dificuldades de aprendizagem teórico-experimentais sobre Circuitos Elétricos. Tem experiência nas áreas de transmissão e distribuição de energia elétrica, educação profissional tecnológica e ensino de engenharia. Exerceu atividades de consultoria sobre planejamento em sistemas de potência, participando ainda de projetos de P&D nas áreas de Distribuição de Energia e Transitórios Eletromagnéticos. Exerceu a função de Diretor de Pesquisa, Inovação Tecnológica e Extensão, Diretor de Ensino e chefe da Divisão de Ensino no IFPE (Campus Garanhuns). Tem coordenado projetos de pesquisa e extensão e orientado estudantes com atividades desenvolvidas, principalmente, nos seguintes temas: Planejamento da Expansão de Sistemas Elétricos, Fluxo de Potência, Transitórios Eletromagnéticos, Estabilidade Estática de Tensão, Análise de Contingências, Energias Renováveis, Ensino e Aprendizagem sobre Circuitos Elétricos, Educação em Engenharia.

Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pernambuco (IFPE). Electrical Engineer (2008) and Master (2010) in Electrical Engineering (concentration area: Power Systems) from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). PhD in Mathematical and Technological Education (2020) from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), with a thesis related to the investigation of theoretical and experimental learning difficulties on Electric Circuits. Member of ABENGE and IEEE, he has experience in the areas of electric power transmission and distribution, technological professional education and engineering education. He performed consultancy activities on power system planning, also participating in R&D projects in the areas of Energy Distribution and Electromagnetic Transients. He served as Director of Research, Technological Innovation and Extension, Director of Education and head of the Division of Education at IFPE (Campus Garanhuns). He has coordinated research and extension projects and guided students, mainly on the following themes: Renewable Energies, Energy Efficiency, Teaching and Learning about Electrical Circuits, Power Flow, Distributed Generation, Engineering Education. He is also interested in the following topics: Electromagnetic Transients, Power Transmission, Short-circuits, Simulation of Electrical Systems and Circuits, Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV).
