Yuji Nascimento Watanabe

Graduate's at Applied Chemistry from University of State of Bahia, master's and doctor's at Chemistry from Federal University of Bahia. Currently an adjunct professor at Federal University of Recôncavo of Bahia (UFRB). Has experience in Optical Methods of Analysis, focusing on laser spectrometry, acting on the following subjects: dispersion in liquids, solid-liquid interface, molecular alignment, fluid microdynamics and fluorescence depolarization. Currently is the institutional coordinator of the institutional program for teaching initiation (PIBID) and head of the university extension core of the Teacher Training Center of UFRB.

Possui graduação em Licenciatura em Química Aplicada pela Universidade do Estado da Bahia - UNEB (2000) e mestrado e doutorado em Química pela Universidade Federal da Bahia -UFBA (2002 e 2015, respectivamente). Tem experiência na área de Métodos Óticos de Análise com ênfase em Espectrometria Laser, bem como em Divulgação Científica e Ensino de Ciências. Atualmente é professor Adjunto da Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB) onde atua principalmente no curso de Licenciatura Plena em Química.
