Fabio Augusto Pires Borges

Received the Electical Engineering degree in the polythectical school from Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul in 1995, the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina in 1999 and the PHD degree in Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in 2017. He is currently Professor in the Universidade Federal de Rio Grande (FURG). His research interests focus on control systems, expert systems, hydraulic systems and elecrical machines.

É graduado em Engenharia Elétrica pela PUC-RS, possui mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela UFSC e doutorado em Engenharia pela UFRGS. Atua como professor na Universidade Federal de Rio Grande (FURG). Tem interesse em pesquisa em sistemas de controle, sistemas inteligentes, redes neurais, sistemas hidráulicos e energias renováveis.
