Arthur Thiago Thamay Medeiros

Doctoral candidate in Design, with emphasis on Design and Technology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS, Master in Design at the Federal University of Campina Grande - UFCG, specialist in Arts at the Faculdade Internacional Signorelli - FISIG, graduated in Product Design at the Federal University of Campina Grande and a bachelor's degree in Social Communication from the State University of Paraíba - UEPB. He is a researcher at the Laboratory of Design and Selection of Materials - LdSM, working in the lines of research: Design and Cultural Heritage, and Three-Dimensional Digitization. He also works as a collaborating researcher responsible for the research line "Modern Design: art, culture and communication", "History of architecture and the modern city. FORM CG" and "Documentation of cultural heritage" at GRUPAL - Architecture and Place Research Group - CNPq/UFCG. He is the tutor of the Interior Design Technical Course at Senac - RS. He is an affiliated member of the International Council of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS BRASIL) and of the Brazilian Committee for the Conservation of Industrial Heritage (TICCIH - Brazil). He has experience in the areas of product design and interior design, visual communication, cultural heritage, modern heritage and industrial heritage, working on the following topics: surface design, graphic planning and desktop publishing, design and modern architecture.

Doutorando em Design, com ênfase em Design e Tecnologia pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS, Mestre em Design pela Universidade Federal de Campina Grande - UFCG, especialista em Artes pela Faculdade Internacional Signorelli - FISIG, especialista também em Docência para Educação Profissional pela Faculdade Senac, graduado em Design de Produto pela Universidade Federal de Campina Grande e bacharel em Comunicação Social pela Universidade Estadual da Paraíba - UEPB. É pesquisador no Laboratório de Design e Seleção de Materiais - LdSM, atuando nas linhas de pesquisa: Design e Patrimônio Cultural, e Digitalização Tridimensional. Atua ainda como pesquisador colaborador responsável pela linha de pesquisa "Design Moderno: arte, cultura e comunicação", "História da arquitetura e da cidade moderna. FORM CG" e "Documentação do patrimônio cultural" do GRUPAL - Grupo de Pesquisa Arquitetura e Lugar - CNPq/UFCG. É tutor do Curso Técnico de Design de Interiores do Senac - RS. É membro expert do CIPA Heritage Documentation. Também é membro filiado do Conselho Internacional de Monumentos e Sítios (ICOMOS - BRASIL) e do Comitê Brasileiro para a Conservação do Patrimônio Industrial (TICCIH - Brasil). Possui experiência nas áreas de design de produto e design de interiores, comunicação visual, patrimônio cultural, patrimônio moderno e patrimônio industrial, atuando nos seguintes temas: design de superfície, planejamento gráfico e editoração eletrônica, design e arquitetura moderna.
