Leonel Henckes

Actor and producer, PhD (2015) and Master (2011) in Performing Arts by PPGAC/UFBA with doctoral internship at the Freie Universität Berlin (2013). Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts - Acting - UFSM (2008). He is currently a cultural programmer at the Goethe-Institut Salvador-Bahia and mentor in the International Residency Program Vila Sul of the same institution. He was Temporary Professor of the Bachelor's Degree in Performing Arts - Acting and Direction at UFBA (2009 - 2011). He worked as a casting coach, assistant director and body trainer in several shows in Bahia; In 2012 he was contemplated with a founding of the Ministry of Culture of Brazil and held an internship as Assistant of Artistic Direction of Oper in the Theater Freiburg/Freiburg im Breisgau Germany; He worked as producer and project mananger at the Melanina Acentuada Interactions creating and organizing the "Festival Dramaturgies of Melanina Acentuada" in its 5 editions in São Paulo (2012/2013), Bahia (2014, 2016 and 2018), Rio de Janeiro (2015). In collaboration with Christina Kyriazidi (Greece) and Marinaio Teatro, he designed and produced the performance ?The Stranger and Other Ordinary Tales? in 2013 in Berlin - Germany. In 2015, he made in Salvador, Bahia, with resources from the FUNARTE Award of Theatre Myriam Muniz in co-production with Marinaio Teatro Berlin, the theater play "Forest Under the Sea" where he was producer and actor. In 2016, he designed and carried out the project "Tournee Forest Under the Sea: Greece-Brazil connections in Bahia", which won the SECULT/BA 2015 Agitação Cultural Founding. In 2016/2017, he participated in an artistic residency with the Marinaio Teatro group in Berlin, Germany, where he set up the solo performance "16 Stories Towards Me".

Possui graduação em Artes Cênicas - Bacharelado Interpretação Teatral pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2008), mestrado em Artes Cênicas (conceito CAPES 6) pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2011) e doutorado em Artes Cênicas (conceito CAPES 6) pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2015) com estágio de doutorado no Institut für Theaterwissenschaft da Freie Universität Berlin, Alemanha. É ator e produtor cultural. Realizou vários projetos teatrais independentes e em colaboração com outros artistas no Brasil e na Alemanha. Publicou em 2021 o livro ?O Ator da Organicidade na Cena Contemporânea? e em 2015 o livro ?Corpo fora do lugar: movimento, fluxo e desordem entre treinamento e construção cênica?. Foi professor temporário no curso de Bacharelado em Artes Cênicas em Atuação da UFBA (2009 ? 2011). Trabalhou como treinador de elenco, assistente de direção e preparador corporal em diversas peças de teatro na Bahia. Em 2012, concluiu um estágio como diretor artístico assistente de uma ópera no Teatro Freiburg/Freiburg im Breisgau Alemanha. A partir de 2012, inicia uma carreira em produção e gestão cultural no Festival Dramatugias da Melanina Acentuada. Ele é um dos criadores do projeto Melanina Digital ? uma plataforma dramatúrgica. Possui MBA em Liderança, Inovação e Gestão 4.0 pela PUCRS ? Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul e é bolsista do programa alemão Ada Fellowship com foco em transformação digital de empresas. Além de dois livros publicados já publicou em diversas revistas acadêmicas e desde 2017 é orientador e consultor de projetos dos artistas, jornalistas e pesquisadores residentes do Programa de Residência Artística Vila Sul do Goethe-Institut Salvador-Bahia. Tem experiência na área de Artes, com ênfase em Direção Teatral, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: teatro, encenação contemporânea, treinamento psicofísico, interpretação teatral e linguagens artisticas.
