Antonio Silva Machado

Graduado em Farmácia Generalista pela Faculdade de Imperatriz (2012) e mestre em Ciências Farmacêuticas (fármacos e medicamentos) pela Universidade Federal de Goiás (2015), doutor em Ciências Biológicas (Farmacologia e Fisiologia) pela mesma instituição (2015-2019). Tem experiência na área de Química Farmacêutica medicinal, com ênfase na síntese de novas substâncias com potenciais atividades farmacológicas, sob a orientação do Prof. Dr. Ricardo Menegatti (Coordenador do Laboratório de Química Farmacêutica Medicinal - LQFM - da Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade Federal de Goiás). Atualmente é professor da Universidade CEUMA nos cursos de Enfermagem e Medicina, e na Faculdade de Medicina de Açailândia como professor e coordenador de pesquisa. Fundador do grupo de pesquisa intitulado LQMS (Laboratório de química Medicinal e sintética) onde desenvolve pesquisas com ênfase no planejamento e síntese de novos antitumorais inibidores da proteína MDM2 e MDM4, inibidores da enzima ciclooxigenase (COX1 e 2), inibidores da acetilcolinesterase viabilizando o tratamento do Alzheimer, e planejamento de agonistas da TRKB análogos ao BDNF estimulando o processo de neurogênese, e candidatos a protótipos de fármacos com ação dual (hipoglicemiante e antioxidante) para o tratamento do diabetes Mellitus tipo II.

Graduated in General Pharmacy from the Faculdade de Imperatriz (2012) and Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences (pharmaceuticals and medicines) from the Federal University of Goiás (2015), Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Pharmacology and Physiology) from the same institution (2015-2019). He has experience in the field of Medicinal Pharmaceutical Chemistry, with an emphasis on the synthesis of new substances with potential pharmacological activities, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ricardo Menegatti (Coordinator of the Medicinal Pharmaceutical Chemistry Laboratory - LQFM - of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Federal University of Goiás). He is currently a professor at the University CEUMA in Nursing and Medicine courses, at the Faculty of Imperatriz (FACIMP) in the courses of Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentistry and Biomedicine, and at the Faculty of Medicine of Açailândia as a professor and research coordinator. Founder of the research group entitled LQMS (Medical and Synthetic Chemistry Laboratory) where he develops research with emphasis on the planning and synthesis of new antitumor inhibitors of the MDM2 and MDM4 protein, inhibitors of the cyclooxygenase enzyme (COX1 and 2), acetylcholinesterase inhibitors enabling the treatment of Alzheimer, and planning of TRKB agonists analogous to BDNF stimulating the neurogenesis process, and candidates for prototype drugs with dual action (hypoglycemic and antioxidant) for the treatment of type II diabetes mellitus.
