Patrícia Cristina Bezerra da Silva

Possui graduação em Licenciatura em Química pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2010), foi aluna de iniciação científica e bolsista do Programa de Educação Tutorial - PET/MEC/SESu ainda na graduação. Formou-se Mestre e Doutora em Química pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Química pela mesma universidade. Tem experiência em Química de Produtos Naturais com ênfase em estudo fitoquímico de Plantas superiores, óleos essenciais e macroalgas marinhas com isolamento e elucidação de compostos ativos por RMN e Cromatografia; e em Ecologia Química com ênfase em estudo de atividade larvicida e atraente/deterrente de extratos naturais frente à Aedes aegypti

She holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2010), was a student of scientific initiation and scholarship holder of the Tutorial Education Program - PET / MEC / SESu, still in the undergraduate program. She holds a Master's and PhD in Chemistry from the Graduate Program in Chemistry from the same university. Has experience in Natural Products Chemistry with emphasis on phytochemical study of Superior plants, essential oils and marine macroalgae with isolation and elucidation of active compounds by NMR and Chromatography; and in Chemical Ecology with emphasis on the study of larvicidal and attractive / deterrent activity of natural extracts against Aedes aegypti
