Perito Criminal, atuando em Genética Forense, do Instituto de Genética Forense Eduardo Campos (IGFEC) da Polícia Científica de Pernambuco, exercendo a função de Gerente do Instituto de Genética Forense. Professor da Academia Integrada de Defesa Social (ACIDES). Atuou em pesquisas científicas relacionadas a fatores genéticos na modulação de efeitos adversos da terapia antirretroviral em pessoas vivendo com HIV/AIDS no Laboratório de Imunopatologia Keizo Asami (LIKA/UFPE). Tem experiências em Ciências Farmacêuticas, com ênfase em Síntese de Fármacos; Genética Humana; Farmacogenética; Imunogenética; Perícia Criminal; Biologia Molecular e Genética Forense. Trabalha principalmente nos seguintes temas: fatores genéticos humanos envolvidos no curso da infecção pelo HIV: imunidade e resposta à terapia antirretroviral; e Genética Forense: marcadores STRs e Y-STRs.

Forensic Expert, working in Forensic Genetics, of the Forensic Genetics Institute Eduardo Campos (IGFEC) of the Scientific Police of Pernambuco, acting as Manager of the Forensic Genetics Institute. Professor at the Integrated Academy of Social Defense (ACIDES). He worked in scientific research related to genetic factors in the modulation of adverse effects of antiretroviral therapy in people living with HIV / AIDS at the Keizo Asami Immunopathology Laboratory (LIKA / UFPE). Has experience in the Pharmaceutical Sciences, with an emphasis on Drug Synthesis; Human Genetics; Pharmacogenetics; Immunogenetics; Criminal Expertise; Molecular Biology and Forensic Genetics. He works mainly on the following themes: human genetic factors involved in the course of HIV infection: immunity and response to antiretroviral therapy; and Forensic Genetics: STRs and Y-STRs markers.
