Graduated in Industrial Chemistry of Food from the Regional University of Noroeste do RS (2006). Master's Degree in Agroindustrial Science and Technology from UFPel (2009) and a PhD in Food Science and Technology from UFPel, with a doctoral internship at L'école Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Toulouse (Toulouse INP-ENSAT), France. Research and teaching in the Food Chemistry area with an emphasis on Vegetable Origin Products: Fruits and Vegetables, Post-harvest, Secondary Metabolism, Ethylene, HPLC, CG, MS, transcriptional expression of enzymes involved with maturation. Postdoctoral at the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique, INRA, Avignon, France. Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology Farroupilha since 2010.
