Hugo Cruz Maestri

Master in Corporate Law from the Law School Milton Campos/MG. Graduated in Law from the University of Vila Velha/ES and specialization in Constitutional Law from the Federal University of Espirito Santo. Attorney with great experience, enrolled in the Brazilian BAR, exercised superior teaching for some years, served as Legal Manager in Brazil in the largest steel industry worldwide, accounting for the civil, labor, environmental, regulatory, criminal and contract law areas, and most recently acting as the General Counsel responsible for legal, claims & insurance and AFRMM of a huge multinational shipping company. Also serves as the Regional Compliance Coordinator of such shipping company. Used to have national and international action by the company, especially in matters involving Maritime, Customs, Civil and Private International Law, in addition to giving presentations abroad.

Mestre em Direito Empresarial pela Faculdade de Direito Milton Campos/MG. Possui graduação em Direito pela Universidade de Vila Velha/ES e especialização em Direito Constitucional pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo. Advogado com grande experiência, inscrito na OAB/ES, exerceu o magistério superior por alguns anos, atuou como gerente jurídico da maior empresa de siderurgia mundial, respondendo pelas áreas cível, trabalhista, ambiental, regulatória, criminal e de contratos, e mais recentemente atua como gerente geral jurídico, de claims & insurance e AFRMM de uma grande multinacional da navegação. Também atua como Coordenador Regional de Compliance de tal empresa de navegação. Tem atuação nacional e internacional pela empresa, especialmente nas questões envolvendo Direito Marítimo, Aduaneiro, Civil, e Internacional Privado, além de ministrar apresentações jurídicas no exterior.
