Luca Tateo is full professor of Epistemology, Theory and Methodology of Qualitative Research at the Department of Special Needs Education, Faculty of Education, University of Oslo, Norway. He was visiting associate professor at Graduate Program in Education, Philosophy and History of Sciences, Faculty of Education, Federal University of Bahia, Brazil. He was associate professor in Qualitative Methods at the University of Oslo (90%). He was also associate professor in Epistemology and History of Cultural Psychology at the Centre for Cultural Psychology, Aalborg University (20%). He is PhD in Psychology of communication: cognitive, emotional and linguistic processes, University of Bari (Italy) ? 2005. His research interests include the epistemology of science and history of ideas, ecological epistemology and environmental justice, the study of imagination as higher psychological function and religious phenomena, the social psychology of extreme right, the epistemology and history of psychological science in order to reflect upon the future trends of psychological research and related methodological issues. He is the organizer of the international winter school ?The method of imagination?. He is editor in Chief of The Springer's journal "Human Arenas" and of the book series ?Innovations in Qualitative research? (InfoAge Publishing, USA) and editorial assistant of the journal ?Qwerty - Open and Interdisciplinary Journal of Technology, Culture and Education?.javascript:void(0)

FACED Linha de Pesquisa: Filosofia das Ciências da UFBA. è professor associado em Metodos Qualitativos na Universidade de Oslo (90%) e professor associado em Epistemologia e História da Psicologia Cultural no Centro de Psicologia Cultural da Universidade de Aalborg (20%). Doutorado em Psicologia da Comunicação: processos cognitivos, emocionais e linguísticos, Universidade de Bari (Itália) - 2005. Seu interesses de pesquisa incluem epistemologia das ciências e história das ideias, epistemologia ecológica e justiça ambiental, pesquisa baseada em arte e, o estudo da imaginação como função psicológica superior e fenômenos religiosos, a psicologia social da extrema direita, a epistemologia e história da ciência psicológica, a fim de refletir sobre as tendências futuras da pesquisa psicológica e questões metodológicas relacionadas. Ele é o organizador da escola internacional "The method of imagination".
