Laís Silva Rodrigues

Professora efetiva do Instituto Federal do Ceará. Mestre em Zoologia pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB). No mestrado, pesquisou sobre abundância, distribuição, atividade de forrageio e ecologia reprodutiva de Abudefduf saxatilis (Pisces: Pomacentridae). Durante o mestrado, atuou na atividade docente, lecionando aulas teóricas e práticas para alunos do curso de Licenciatura e Bacharelado em Ciências Biológicas da UFPB. Possui graduação em Licenciatura Plena e Bacharelado em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (UEPB), na qual foi bolsista pelo CNPq no projeto "Rede de Áreas Marinhas Protegidas do Estado da Paraíba: avaliação da efetividade e subsídios para ampliação", desenvolvendo pesquisa sobre habitats utilizados por peixes recifais. Durante a graduação, lecionou para alunos do ensino Fundamental e Médio. Atuou no projeto de extensão da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG) lecionando Biologia voluntariamente para alunos do curso pré-vestibular do projeto ?Pré-Vestibular Solidário?. Mergulhadora nível avançado com especificações para Resgate (Rescue Diver) e Primeiros Socorros (Emergency First Response) pela PADI. Atua desde 2013 como professora de Biologia para o Ensino Fundamental II e Ensino Médio, e desde 2014 como professora de Biologia do curso preparatório para vestibulares de medicina. Teacher at Federal Institute of Ceara. Master of Science in Zoology by the Postgraduate Program in Biological Sciences, Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). On Master's Degree, researched on the abundance, distribution, foraging activity and reproductive ecology of Abudefduf saxatilis (Pisces: Pomacentridae). During the Master's Degree, acted in aid to teaching, teaching theory and practical classes for undergraduate students of Degree and Bachelor of Biological Sciences at UFPB, in the themes: "Diversity of animal life", "Classification of living beings" and "General Zoology" within the discipline "Deuterostomes Metazoans". Graduated in Full Degree and Bachelor in Biological Sciences by the State University of Paraíba (UEPB), in which was a colleger by CNPq (National Counsel of Technological and Scientific Development) in the project "Network of Marine Protected Areas of the Paraiba State: evaluation of effectiveness and subsidies for expansion", developing research on habitats used by reef fishes. During graduation, taught for students in elementary school and high school, during the training required to obtain the title of Full Degree. Served in the extension project of the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) voluntarily teaching Biology to students of pre-university project "Pre-Vestibular Solidário", which provides classes for underprivileged students for the Brazilian universities admission's test, known as "Vestibular". Taught, autonomously, tutoring in Biology for students with learning difficulties on that theme, from elementary and high school. Diver with advanced level specifications for Rescue (Rescue Diver) and First Aid (Emergency First Response) by PADI. Has affinity with the areas: Ecology, Zoology, Biology Teaching and Environmental Education.
