Docente permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação (PPGE) da Universidade do Planalto Catarinense (UNIPLAC). Vinculado à Linha de Pesquisa "Políticas e Fundamentos da Educação". Realizou Doutorado em Educação na UFSCar, com período sanduíche na Universidade do Minho; Mestrado em Educação e Pedagogia na UNESP-Rio Claro. Sócio da ANPEd (GT Educação de Crianças de 0 a 6 anos). Integra o Núcleo de Pesquisa em Educação Básica: políticas, estéticas e diferenças (NuPEB). Coordena o Laboratório de Inovação Educacional (Labin), projeto financiado pela FAPESC. Leciona no curso de Pedagogia. É membro do Consuni e do Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa da UNIPLAC. Integra o Conselho Editorial da Editora UNIPLAC. Coordenou o PPGE UNIPLAC de 2019 a 2023. Atuou como professor nas séries iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Pesquisa as temáticas: Políticas e fundamentos da Educação Infantil; Pedagogia da diferença; Pedagogias LGBTQIAPN+; Pedagogias marginais e abjetas; Divulgação Científica e Inovação.

He completed a PhD in Education at UFSCar, with sandwich period at the University of Minho; Master in Education and Pedagogy at UNESP-Rio Claro. Coordinates the Laboratory of Educational Innovation (Labin), a project funded by FAPESC. Teaches in the course of Pedagogy. He is a member of Consuni and the Research Ethics Committee of UNIPLAC. He is a member of the Editorial Board of UNIPLAC. He coordinated the PPGE UNIPLAC from 2019 to 2023. He worked as a teacher in the early grades of elementary school.
