Possui graduação em Licenciatura Plena Em Educação Física pela Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso (1985) e doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2004). Atualmente é comitê científico do gtt corpo e cultura - COLEGIO BRASILEIRO DE CIENCIAS DO ESPORTE, pesquisador associado - COLEGIO BRASILEIRO DE CIENCIAS DO ESPORTE, pesquisador colaborador da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, coordenadora procad amazônia / capes da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso, professor efetivo da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso e professor titular da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Educação, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: educação intercultural, educação, educação física, educação fisica e educação indígena.
Post-Doctor in Social Anthropology (2011) and Doctor in Education (2004) by UFSC, she graduated in Physical Education at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (1985) where she integrates the teaching staff (2011) of the Faculty of Physical Education and the Program Graduate Program in Education in the line of research Social Movements, Politics and Popular Education. She integrates as a researcher the Scientific Committee of the Thematic Working Group Body and Culture of CBCE (2004), Rede Mover under the coordination of Reinaldo Fleuri (1999), creating in 2004 the Research Group Body, Education and Culture - COEDUC / CNPq. Collaborates with the Center for Studies and Indigenous Populations (NEPI / UFSC) and withLaboratory of Studies and Research of the Diversity of Legal Amazon (LEAL / Unemat). Currently coordinates the Procad-Amazônia / Capes Network (PPGE / UFMT) with the PPGEDUC / UFPA and PPGE / UFAM (2018) and the UFMT Network (2016) - Indigenous Knowledge Action at School with Unemat and UFR. The study subjects are: intercultural education, education of the body, indigenous education. child education and popular culture.
