Lecturer and Coordinator of the undergraduate course of Language Arts. Permanent member of the Professional Master's Program in Language Arts in the National Network - PROFLETRAS and Collaborator in the Postgraduate Program in Language Arts and Teaching (PPGLLIT/UFNT). PhD in Language Arts from the Postgraduate Program: Teaching Language and Literature (2017) at the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT). Master in Linguistics (2008) and Specialist in English Language (2001) from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Degree in Literature/Portuguese/English (1999) from the Faculty of Teacher Training of the State University of Rio de Janeiro (FFP/UERJ). Experience in the field of Applied Linguistics, working in the Teaching of English as an Additional Language and in Teacher Training. Member of the CNPq research group: Language Practices (PLES) and the Systemic-Functional Linguistics group of the National Association of Postgraduate Studies and Research in Language Arts and Linguistics (ANPOLL). The research emphasis is focused on the area of ​​teaching and learning of English, working on the following topics: Additional Language Acquisition, Methodologies and training/professionalization of the English language teacher. Currently develops research involving the process of reading and textual production conducted according to the Teaching and Learning Cycle of the Pedagogy of Genres of Functional Systemic Linguistics (FSL).

Membro permanente do Programa de Mestrado Profissional em Letras em Rede Nacional - PROFLETRAS e Colaboradora no Programa de Pós-graduação em Letras e Ensino (PPGLLIT/UFNT). Pós-doutoranda do Programa de Pós-graduação da UNIFESP/Campus Guarulhos (maio 2023 - abril 2024). Doutora em Letras pelo Programa de Pós-graduação: Ensino de Língua e Literatura (2017) da Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT). Mestre em Linguística (2008) e Especialista em Língua Inglesa (2001) pela Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Licenciada em Letras/Português/Inglês (1999) pela Faculdade de Formação de Professores da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (FFP/UERJ). Possui experiência na área de Linguística Aplicada, atuando no Ensino de Língua Inglesa como Língua Adicional e na Formação de Professores. É membro do grupo de pesquisa CNPq: Práticas de Linguagem (PLES) e do grupo de Linguística Sistêmico-Funcional da Associação Nacional de Pós-graduação e Pesquisa em Letras e Linguística (ANPOLL) . Membro do Núcleo de Práticas de Linguagem (NPL/UFNT). Sua ênfase em pesquisa se concentra na área de ensino e aprendizagem de Língua Inglesa, atuando nos seguintes temas: Aquisição de Língua Adicional, Metodologias e formação/profissionalização do professor de Língua Inglesa. Atualmente desenvolve pesquisas que envolvem o processo de leitura e produção textual conduzido conforme o Ciclo de Ensino e Aprendizagem (CEA) da Pedagogia de Gêneros da Linguística Sistêmico Funcional (LSF).
