Carlos Roberto Cavalcante de Resende

Actor, Director and Performer, he works in the field of Performing Arts with an interest in the composition of Theater, Performance, Dance and Visual Arts. He has practical artistic experience, with an emphasis on Theatrical Interpretation, acting mainly in the following fields: Performative Theater, Performance Art, Dance and Durational Action. His stage name is Roberto Rezende, but before, and until 2012, he was known as Carlos Resende;

He holds a Master's Degree in Performing Arts from the Post-Graduation course at the Unicamp Arts Institute with the dissertation "The practice of drifting as a creative device for the performing arts", under the guidance of Professor Dr. Renato Ferracini (Lume Teatro);
He is a specialist in Cultural Management through the Postgraduate Course "Contemporary Cultural Management: from the expansion of the Poetic repertoire to the formation of collaborative teams" promoted by the singularities institute in partnership with Itaú Cultural;

He graduated as an actor from the School of Dramatic Art of the University of São Paulo - EAD / ECA / USP. It also develops works in the elaboration and production of projects in the Cultural area. He is currently a student in the Postgraduate Management Culture: Contemporary course: from expanding the poetic repertoire to building collaborative teams ", promoted by Itaú Cultural associated with the Higher Education Institute of São Paulo - Instituto Singularidades;

He graduated in Law from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO);

He is a founding artist and researcher at CAMBAR Coletivo - www.cambarcoletivo.com - where he develops his artistic research that moves through four creative procedures: Cartography, drift, Performative Program and the concept of Game. In 2016, starting from the research promoted at CAMBAR, he directed the show "Cartography of Affection - Manifesto Leonilson", awarded by the Zé Renato de Fomento ao Teatro Award;

He was a research artist - INTERDISCIPLINARY NUCLEUM OF THEATERICAL RESEARCH AT UNICAMP - LUME associated with the Núcleo Fuga! / Teatro Lume / Unicamp. In 2019, he develops the artistic project "C.A.S.A - open path, always open" in direct partnership with Performer and Researcher Eleonora Fabião. Currently, the FUGA! now composes the picture of researchers of the Arts of the Scene by the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul - UEMS.

He is a research artist at the AP43 Cinema Research Group, coordinated by director and actress Nara Sakarê - www.ap43.com.br;

He was an interpreter, producer and artistic member of the Zecora Ura Theater (Brazil - United Kingdom), today named as ZU-UK, between 2007 and 2012, during which she performed, produced and co-created the internationally awarded project Hotel Medea ; .He was an actor in 2013 of "BOM RETIRO 958 metros", Teatro Vertigem, directed by Antonio Araujo.

He was a research artist, Performer and administrative member of LaPlataformance - Collaborative workstation in Performance, initially coordinated by the artist Rodrigo Munhoz.

Ator, Diretor e Performer, atua no campo das Artes da Cena com interesse na composição entre Teatro, Performance, Dança e Artes visuais. Tem experiência prática artística, com ênfase em Interpretação Teatral, atuando principalmente nas seguintes searas: Teatro Performativo, Performance Arte, Dança e Ação duracional. Seu nome artístico é Roberto Rezende, mas era conhecido como Carlos Resende até 2012;

É Mestre em Artes da Cena pelo curso de Pós- Graduação do Instituto de Artes da Unicamp com a dissertação "A prática da deriva como dispositivo de criação para as artes da cena", com orientação do Professor Dr. Renato Ferracini (Lume Teatro);

É especialista em Gestão Cultural pelo Curso de Pós graduação "Gestão Cultural Contemporânea: da ampliação do repertório Poético à formação de equipes colaborativas" promovido pelo instituto singularidades em parceria com o Itaú Cultural;

É formado como ator pela Escola de Arte Dramática da Universidade de São Paulo - EAD / ECA / USP. Também desenvolve trabalhos na elaboração e produção de projetos na área Cultural. Atualmente,é aluno no curso de Pós Graduação Gestão Cultura:contemporânea: da ampliação do repertório poética à construção de equipes colaborativas", promovido pelo Itaú Cultural associado ao Instituto Superior de Educação de São Paulo - Instituto Singularidades;

É graduado como bacharel em Direito pela Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO);

É artista fundador e pesquisador do CAMBAR Coletivo - www.cambarcoletivo.com - onde desenvolve sua pesquisa artística que se move por quatro procedimentos de criação: Cartografia, deriva, Programa Performativo e o conceito de Jogo. Em 2016, partindo da pesquisa fomentada no CAMBAR, dirigiu o espetáculo "Cartografia do Afeto - Manifesto Leonilson", contemplado pelo Prêmio Zé Renato de Fomento ao Teatro;

Foi artista pesquisador - NÚCLEO INTERDISCIPLINAR DE PESQUISAS TEATRAIS DA UNICAMP - LUME associado ao no Núcleo Fuga! / Teatro Lume / Unicamp. Em 2019, desenvolve aqui o projeto artístico "C.A.S.A -caminho aberto, sempre aberto" em parceria direta com a Performer e Pesquisadora Eleonora Fabião. Atualmente, o Núcleo FUGA! compõe agora o quadro de pesquisadores das Artes da Cena pela Universidade Estadual do Mato Grosso do Sul - UEMS. 

É artista pesquisador do Grupo de Pesquisa em Cinema AP43, coordenado pela diretora e atriz Nara Sakarê - www.ap43.com.br;

Foi intérprete, produtor e membro artístico do Zecora Ura Theater (Brasil - Reino Unido), hoje nomeado como ZU-UK, entre o período de 2007 a 2012, durante o qual a executou, produziu e co-criou o premiado internacionalmente projeto Hotel Medea; .Foi ator em 2013 do "BOM RETIRO 958 metros", Teatro Vertigem, dirigido por Antonio Araujo.
