Kátia Adair Agostinho

Doutora em Estudos da Criança pelo Instituto de Educação da Universidade do Minho - Portugal (2010) com orientação do Profº Dr. Manuel Jacinto Sarmento. Realizou o mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2003) com orientação da Profª Drª Eloisa Acires Candal Rocha. Possui graduação em História pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1990) e Pós-Doutorado na FLACSO (Argentina) com o Profº Dr. Carlos Skliar. Atualmente é professora da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina e pesquisadora do NUPEIN - Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas da Educação na Pequena Infância - NUPEIN. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Educação Infantil, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: educação infantil, culturas infantis, direito das crianças, cotidiano e pedagogia da educação infantil.

Has experience in the area of ​​education, with emphasis in Early Childhood Education, acting mainly in the following areas: early childhood education, teacher training, teaching in early childhood education, Pedagogy of Childhood, strategies of pedagogical action, organization of space in early childhood education, children's rights, child participation and children's cultures.
