Roberto Pereira

Professor at the Department of Informatics, Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). PhD in Computer Science at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Roberto was a Visiting Researcher at the Informatics Research Center at the University of Reading (UK), and a post-doc researcher at the Institute of Computing / UNICAMP. Deputy-coordinator of the Graduate Program in Informatics at UFPR, he was Associate Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Informatics in Education (RBIE) and coordinator of the Special Commission of HCI of SBC - Brazilian Computer Society. He is currently Associate Editor of the ACM Journal on Responsible Computing (JRC), Editor-in-Chief of the SBC Journal on Interactive Systems (JIS) and SBC Horizontes Magazine. Roberto coordinates the HCI Research Lab at UFPR. Main research interests: Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science Education, Informatics in Education, Culture and Values in Interactive Systems Design.

Professor do Departamento de Informática da Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) e Coordenador do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Informática da UFPR. Doutor em Ciência da Computação pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), foi Pesquisador Visitante no Informatics Research Centre da Universidade de Reading (UK) com Pós-doutorado no Instituto de Computação/UNICAMP, ambos com Projeto FAPESP. Foi editor Associado da Revista Brasileira de Informática na Educação (RBIE) e coordenador da Comissão Especial de IHC da SBC - Sociedade Brasileira de Computação. Atualmente, é Editor Associado do ACM Journal on Responsible Computing (JRC), Editor Chefe da SBC Horizontes Magazine, e Editor Chefe do SBC Journal on Interactive Systems (JIS). Principais interesses de pesquisa: Interação Humano-Computador, Educação em Computação, Informática na Educação, e Cultura e Valores no Design de Sistemas Computacionais Interativos.
