Álvaro Augusto Dealcides Silveira Moutinho Bahls

Doutor em Turismo & Hotelaria. Defendeu, COM DISTINÇÃO E LOUVOR, em 2019 a tese intitulada "Modelo de Validação da Autenticidade de Preparações Culinárias Tradicionais no contexto da Experiência Turística". Mestre em Turismo e Hotelaria (UNIVALI), 2015. Bacharel em Turismo e Hotelaria pela Universidade do Vale do Itajaí (2003), com estágio de conclusão do curso em Snowshoe Mountain Resort USA. Possui experiência profissional internacional em Resorts nos EUA, com ênfase na gastronomia e no lazer e recreação (ensino do esqui), sendo este seu primeiro contato com a pedagogia. Atuou na área de intercâmbios universitários no exterior, através da Intercultural (com sede em Florianópolis), uma das mais tradicionais agências de intercâmbio do estado de Santa Catarina, onde foi representante dela na UNIVALI, através da Agência Acadêmica de Turismo ACATUR. Residiu na Rep. Tcheca, em Cesky Krumlov (patrimônio histórico mundial da UNESCO), onde administrou o Hostel 99, principal meio de hospedagem do gênero neste importante destino turístico. Foi professor de inglês do Centro de Cultura Anglo-Americana durante dois anos, sendo esse seu segundo contato com a pedagogia. No período de pós-graduação foi bolsista integral da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior. Cocriou e atuou como editor executivo do periódico internacional Applied Tourism (UNIVALI) entre 2014 e 2020. Atuou como Coordenador Executivo, auxiliando no desenvolvimento e aplicação do projeto "Pesquisa de Demanda Turística do Estado de Santa Catarina" em conjunto com a FAPESC-SANTUR-UNIVALI. É Sommelier formado pela International Sommelier Guild (ISG) com o diploma de Intermediate Wine Certificate (IWC).

PhD in Tourism & Hospitality. He defended, WITH DISTINCTION AND PRAISE, in 2019 the thesis entitled "Authenticity Validation Model of Traditional Culinary Preparations in the context of the Tourist Experience". Master in Tourism and Hospitality (UNIVALI), 2015. Bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality from the University of Vale do Itajaí (2003), with completion stage at Snowshoe Mountain Resort USA. He has international professional experience in Resorts in the US, with an emphasis on gastronomy and leisure and recreation (ski teaching), this being his first contact with pedagogy. He worked in the area of university exchanges abroad, through Intercultural (based in Florianópolis), one of the most traditional exchange agencies in the state of Santa Catarina, where he was its representative at UNIVALI, through the Academic Tourism Agency ACATUR. He resided in Rep. Tcheca, in Cesky Krumlov (UNESCO World Heritage Site), where he managed Hostel 99, the main accommodation of its kind in this important tourist destination. He was an English teacher at the Anglo-American Culture Center for two years, this being his second contact with pedagogy. During his graduate studies, he received a full scholarship from the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel. Co-created and served as executive editor of the international journal Applied Tourism (UNIVALI) between 2014 and 2020. UNIVALI. He is a Sommelier trained by the International Sommelier Guild (ISG) with an Intermediate Wine Certificate (IWC).
