Anderson Dick Smidarle

Licenciado em Letras - Inglês e Respectivas Literaturas pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. Mestre em Linguística pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras da PUCRS, e doutorando em Linguística pela mesma instituição. Pesquisador vinculado ao Grupo de Estudos em Neurolinguística e Psicolinguística (GENP), da Escola de Humanidades da PUCRS. Atua na área de Neuropsicolinguística, com ênfase nos estudos sobre o processamento semântico e discursivo de população idosa saudável e com comprometimentos neurológicos, como Doença de Alzheimer e Afasia. Possui experiência em desenvolvimento de tarefas neuropsicológicas para a avaliação da linguagem, e em realização de exames de neuroimagem funcional e estrutural para fins de pesquisa.

Linguistics/English Language and Literature graduate at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). Master in Linguistics from the Leters Graduate Program at PUCRS. PhD candidate at the same institution. Researcher linked to the Group of Studies in Neurolinguistics and Psycholinguistics (GENP), from the School of Humanities at PUCRS. Conducts research in the field of Neuropsycholinguistics, with emphasis on the studies on semantic and discursive processing in healthy ageing and cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer's Disease and Aphasia. Has experience in the development of neuropsychological tests for language evaluation purposes, and in structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging for research purposes.
